Refund policy

We offer returns for change-of-mind purchases within 30 days. Please notify us as soon as possible from the receipt of your goods if you would like a return.

For a change of mind return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and the product can not be washed. 

To start your return, please email us at hello@hometownhire.com.au and let us know if you would like a refund or exchange. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and replace the item/s. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

We offer exchanges for all products within 30 days, please notify us via email if you would like to exchange a product and we will arrange this. 

Please note that we will only send out the replacement product once your original purchase has been received in an unused condition in the original packaging. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
